‘Ivory’ collection, part 2
Mr Denholm Elliot played Mr Emerson in the 1985 version of A Room With A View which we’re focusing on and often wore a grey 3 piece.
Rendered in lightweight wool flannel in a grey chalk stripe, our Denholm bridges the gap between formal and occasional giving you 3 pieces which are all wearable separately.
Suitable for the office as a 2 or 3 piece and stunning for a groom who is looking for a beautifully fitted sharp outfit with a hint of nostalgic glamour to be teamed with contrasting accessories.
Made In Italy and available in store only at present.
We also have the Beebe jacket, named after Simon Callow’s dashing, gregarious character in the film who dresses in much Anglo-Italian finery! The Beebe comes in a blue grey flecky wool cashmere from Yorkshire which is super light in weight for the season whilst still looking and feeling like a limited piece of modern luxury tailoring. (Like all styles, it is 1 of 5). Made In Italy. Now available on our webstore to purchase below. Any queries please feel free to call or email.
The Emerson jacket is again a modern fitted look but in a classic English wool and therefore more suitable for year round wear. We wanted to reflect the era of the film in the fabrics for our collection and this jacket is the most evocative with a hint of old English elegance to this donegal tweed style fabric in grey with flecks of navy. However, team this with the dark elbow patches, the navy/white buttons and a sharp fit and you get a refreshed version of a classic gentleman’s piece, Made In Italy. Coming to the webstore soon.
Part 3 comes soon….
